My name is Yuan Zhen Huang, from Canton, China. I speak Cantonese and Mandarin. I am married and have two daughters. They are both working. I'm retired now.

I live in a 12-story apartment building on Monroe Street, Chinatown, New York City. It is a one bedroom apartment with a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Most of my neighbors are Chinese. Some are white people. Some are black. Some are Hispanic. They are all friendly.

My neighborhood is quiet but safe, and convenient. There is a park, a church, a school, a coffee shop, a noodle shop, a grocery store and a supermarket in the neighborhood. I like to go grocery shopping everyday because the vegetables in the supermarket are very fresh.

The transportation is also very convenient for me. The bus stop is only one block from my place, and subway station is only a 5-minutes walk from my home.

I enjoy Chinese cooking, reading books and newspapers and listening to music at home. I also like to eat fish, vegetable and fruits.

I love to travel. I have been to many places in America since I came to America, such as Yellowstone National Park, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Atlanta, Hawaii, and Tennessee. They are beautiful and fun to visit. I also enjoyed visits to many places outside the States, such as Toronto, Canada and many places in China, including Beijing, Xia Men, Gui Lin. I took a lot of pictures of them and I like to look at these pictures which can bring back my good memories of the trips to these places. The breath-taking views, the nice people we met and chatted with, the food we had in different places. I am lucky to be able to visit so many great places.
